A Crap Art Album-a-Day Project
Some time ago I came upon an interesting site: Crap Art: Album-a-Day, which served as inspiration to spew out these seven songs (clocking in at 20:11) in a ten hour period. If FAWM encourages you to just write whatever you have on your mind to churn out 14 songs in 28 days, the Crap Art project really encourages you to spew forth with wild abandon. Although only one of the ideas became anything useful (Halfway to the Grave made it into I Live in Losertown), exercises such as these are beneficial to get the creative juices going. The last track I just stretched out to put me over the 20 minute minimum.
