The train station appears over the horizon. It's hard to see because of the dust. The dust is everywhere, even inside the train. You wipe your brow and notice the yellow mud on the back of your hand where the dust mixes with your sweat. It's quiet on the train. Everyone is either too tired or too sleepy to do anything other than stare out the window. You stare, too, only there is nothing to look at except miles and miles of barren landscape.

The woman next to you is nodding her head as she listens to her iPod. You strain to hear the faint music coming from her headphones. She sees you and smiles. The train whistle blows. The mood on the train changes. The passengers begin to stir in their seats. There is anticipation in the air. Anticipation--for what? You sense something but you are unsure. What's next? What will you do? Where will you go? It's a long way from Palookaville. Next stop--Losertown.

Anomie Train is Steven Mon, guitar and vocals; Steve Mon, lead guitar and vocals; ~~Jiang Qi Hui~~, bass guitar; and s.mon, drum loops handler. Nobody seems to know what s.mon's actual name is and he refuses to tell. Ever since they arrived at Losertown with nothing but their guitars and the clothes on their backs, the townspeople have been mystified at the incredible likeness of all four men, but they've been groovin' to their music ever since. The eight new songs from I Live in Losertown explore the lives of those who always seem to be stuck in the middle. Recorded and produced in Losertown (and mastered by Mark Guenther at Seattle Disc Mastering), the creation of each CD was carefully and lovingly overseen by Pookie, the Anomie Train mascot.
